Polygender, or Multigender, is a term for someone who experiences two or more genders. It falls under the non-binary and transgender umbrellas. It can be used as a gender identity on its own or as an umbrella term. This includes bigender (two genders), trigender (three genders), quadgender (four genders), and so on, all the way up to pangender (all genders).

Multigender individuals may experience these gender identities at the same time making them kymenian, or their gender identity may change over time, making them genderfluid. If an individual experiences fluctuation in the intensity of those genders, they could possibly be multiflux. The genders they experience can be male, female and/or any non-binary identities.

The Polygender / Multigender Pride Flag was made by an unknown user before July of 2015. Blue and pink represent masculinity and femininity respectively, and those who feel partially male/female. Yellow is for genders outside the binary. Black is for those who feel partially agender. Grey is for those whose gender(s) change or fluctuate.
